Tesco Community Grant Award for Tennis Court LED lighting

Following the Tesco Community Grant vote in local Tesco stores, West Moors Town Council’s Outdoor LED Tennis Court Lighting Project came Third and has been chosen by Tesco Customers to receive a grant award of £500.00!

Voting was held at Tesco stores between Friday 1st July and Thursday 30th September and proved to be very successful with millions of votes being cast by Tesco Customers across England, Scotland and Wales.

This award will allow West Moors Town Council to proceed very soon, with the installation of LED lighting at the Tennis Court, which will not only benefit the users of this facility but also the users of the recently renovated Skate Park, directly adjacent, which welcomes hundreds of people a week.
