November 2023 Bi-monthly Litter Pick

Since 2021, every other month, volunteers meet at the council office at 9.45am, and are equipped with litter pickers, sacks, gloves and high visibility jackets.
This time, we have some fancy litter hoops (Bagos) thanks to Dorset Council Waste Services, who play a huge part in these litter picks, as they have helped with equipment and disposal of all litter throughout the 3 years, and will continue to do so no doubt.
If you think that from every litter pick, there have been a minimum of 20 rubbish bags collected, we hold 6 litter picks a year, and have done for 3 years. Our litter heroes have taken at least **360** bags of litter from the streets of West Moors.
