After 43 Incredible Years, Our Youth Club Needs You!
Dear West Moors Community,
Our
beloved youth club, which has provided 43 years of fun and safety for our youth, is in danger of closing its doors. But there's hope! We urgently need passionate individuals to step up and join our management committee.
**Why We Need You:**
Despite having two dedicated youth workers, vital administrative tasks and community fundraising events, such as "Carols on the Petwyn" and "Movies under the Stars," rely on our committee. Unfortunately, due to the departure of several long-serving committee members, we need a minimum of four new volunteers.
**Your Chance to Make a Difference:**
If you share our passion for West Moors, care deeply about our young people, and want to give back to this amazing community, NOW is the time to step up!
**Requirements to Join:**
- Commit to attending up to eight or nine committee meetings per year.
- Be ready to contribute extra time leading up to two exciting events:

**Movies under the Stars** - Mid-August

The West Moors Youth and Community Club is situated on Bond Avenue, just to the north of Fryer Field & the Pavilion: access is off Station Road.
Currently meet on a Tuesday and Thursday evening, with new Autumn term dates.
Session times are 6.30-8.30pm - Tuesday year 7-8 and Thursday year 6. Friday Year 8 and 9 upwards
Yearly subscription of £10. Session's cost is: £2 for members, £3 for non-members
Offering Poole, Air hockey, sports hall and there is an onsite tuck shop selling soft drinks and sweets.
The venue is available for private hire. It includes toilets, kitchen, and sports hall.
There is also use of WIFI and a small, enclosed parking area. The Youth club facilities are set back from the main road and has parking next door in the local Free car park and a stone's throw away to the local field.
