As well as your collection day changing over the Christmas period, Dorset Waste crews might pick up your waste at a different time of day than usual. Therefore, please put your bins out on the correct day by 6am to ensure collection. If you have extra recycling that won't fit in your bin, you can put it in a sturdy box (not a bag) - that can be lifted by one person - and put it by the side of your recycling bin. Please put paper, card and cartons in your bin to ensure it doesn't get wet. Keep glass separate. You can also put out two extra sacks of black bin rubbish on your first scheduled rubbish collection after Christmas. There are no garden waste collections from Thursday 25 December until Thursday 8 January. Read More...
