It was another poignant Remembrance Sunday in West Moors yesterday, and fantastic to see so many of our community come along to pay their respects despite the threatening rain. Thank you to clergy from St Mary's Church, St Martins URC, Pinehurst Community Church and St Anthony's Catholic Church for leading the parade and the commemorative service together. We'd also like to extend our thanks to Bournemouth Youth Marching Band (and Laguna Travel for transporting them) and the many, many representatives from the array of groups, schools and organisations from West Moors and beyond who made it such a special morning of remembrance and togetherness. There will be a short service on the Petwyn to mark Armistice Day tomorrow; all are welcome to join us on the Petwyn again at 10:45am. Read More...
