West Moors Town Council has a proud history of
wonderful annual community events entertaining the young and old in the Town. Some have
been slightly significant others monumental.
The level and nature of festivity always depends on the Council resources at the time, not the willingness to organise, as the Council understands it has a key role in supporting, promoting and encouraging memorial, historical, environmental and simply enjoyable events that take place in West Moors.

In recent years, where there were occasions for pageantry and celebration, and a street party was not held, the milestone was honoured by trying to include both generations via hamper deliveries for the elderly, local displays for the whole community, and/or activities and competitions for the local children.
