Due to the Red Weather Warning for heat, all of Dorset Council's Household Recycling Centres will be closed from 1pm on Thursday 25 June. If you have made a booking at one of the four sites with a booking system - Dorchester, Wimborne, Sherborne and Shaftsbury - during the time of closure, you will receive an email asking you to reschedule. We've been informed that vehicles will be prohibited from entering the service road at the Station Road junction by Flooring Elegance, Payless West Moors and Pink Velvet Nails & Beauty on Sunday the 21st June between 09:30 and 15:30. This will enable Openreach to carry out cabling works on the highway. Works are anticipated to be completed the same day. Read More...
