Dial 111 if you need urgent medical help or advice or you think you might need to go to A & E; for 'normal hours' services, see entries against Doctors below.
Use 999 (or 112) for a life-threatening emergency, major road-traffic accident etc.
For information relating to local Minor Injuries Units, see the entry in the listing below.
Use 119 for NHS Covid-19 matters: e.g., all matters relating to making Covid-19 test appointments, enquiries about test results and making an appointment ( when called to do so ) for a Coronavirus vaccination.

We own/maintain three Defibrillators in West Moors:
1. Outside the Spar store on Station Road
2. On the front wall of the Memorial Hall, also Station Road
3. On the side of the Pavilion wall on Fryer Field 
Call 999 in an emergency and they will be able to give you the cabinet code to access the nearest defibrillator. 

Carers Support Group

West Moors Village Surgery Carers monthly group meets on the second Monday of every month between 2pm and 4pm at Brook View Care Home.

Castleman Community Larder

A not-for-profit community interest company set up to tackle food poverty in the local community. They operate membership based, social supermarket to support low-income families and struggling households.

Dementia Action Group

The West Moors Dementia Action Group works to raise awareness and improve the lives of people living with memory loss and dementia, and their carers.
