Youth Activities

Although the 'demographic profile' of West Moors parish is biased towards those aged over-60, younger members of the community are not ignored! There is a thriving Youth Club on Bond Avenue (adjacent to the Pavilion on Fryer Field) and two youngster's play areas; one on Fryer Field ( open at all times ) and next to Oakhurst School ( restricted opening availability ) - see image below. Scouts, Guides etc., are also catered for.

MOST ACTIVITIES LISTED BELOW HAD BEEN SUSPENDED DURINGTHE COVID-19 EMERGENCY - BUT AS OF SUMMER 2021, THERE IS A SLOW, HESITANT RE-AWAKENING UNDERWAY! IF IN DOUBT, CHECK WITH CONTACTS LISTED.
