St. Martin's URC Christmas Tree Festival

St. Martin's URC has hosted an annual Christmas Tree Festival in their Church for over 10 years. It is held at the beginning of December each year (Thursday to Saturday) to coincide with Carols on the Petwyn. For many, the tree festival heralds the arrival of the festive season.

The church is transformed into a small forest of trees, each one created by a different group, business or organisation. The festival offers an opportunity for the community to come together and is completely free to visit. Donations are welcome, and will go to the church's chosen charity.

2025

This year's tree was decorated with 'The Holly and The Ivy' in mind! Thanks to Cllr Rita Burke who sourced all the ivy and knitted the lovely crown topper!

2024

Our Chair, Cllr Rita Burke, and resident Jan Salt decorated this pretty little tree on the theme of 'The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe.
