Chatterbooks ... January return?
As more routine events come back (see below), in January it is hoped to re-start the Chatterbooks sessions; these are intended for youngsters aged 7 to 11: more information here when known, and also via local display boards.
In-Library activities: a summary
The following activities have restarted and are now in 'full-swing': contact the Library for more detail:
> Adult Colouring & Games: two sessions, 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month ... 10.30 am - Noon. You MUST pre-book with the Library before attending. Contact details listed above.
> Rhyme Time resumed as of 16th September: There are TWO sessions on a Thursday morning ... 10.30 - 11.00 am and 11.30 - Noon. A maximum of 6 youngsters for each session ( and children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult ), and you MUST pre-book with the Library before attending. Contact details listed above.
> Knit & Natter resumed as of 20th September: There are TWO sessions per week: on Monday and Tuesday, 2.15 - 3.30 pm and there is a maximum number of attendees per session of 8. Therefore, you MUST pre-book with the Library before attending. Contact details listed above.
> Digital Champion (NEW!): if you need to get to grips with a tablet/iPad, or want to know how to (safely) navigate through social media ... or any other aspect of our 'online world', then these sessions are for you! There are bookable 40 minute slots available - call the Library (01202 873 272) or talk to the duty staff. The sessions are available every second and fourth Friday of each month between 10.30 am and 12.40 pm.
